Authenticating a voter is critical to ensuring the integrity of remote electronic balloting. For Private Sector elections we authenticate eVoters in one of two ways:

Your Portal Method - We use your organization’s existing Membership Portal to ‘pre-screen’ and link a qualified voter to their electronic ballot. This method protects sensitive membership data (we don’t need it) while ensuring the privacy of each voter’s ballot (only we know how they voted).

Our Portal Method - eVoters access their electronic ballot through Election Trust's secure eVoting portal using a unique Name/Pin known (or distributed to the eVoter. In this instance all proprietary member information is held by Election Trust in the strictest of confidence).

NOTE: For the purposes of this Demo we provide an example of the latter method. Use the provided Name/Pin.

Election Trust's eVoting platform uniquely provides 'counted as cast' eReceipts which are posted to a publicly available web page. This posting enables each eVoter to confirm that their anonymous and private electronic ballot has, in fact, been included in the final election results.

NOTE: On confirming your eVote make sure to PRINT your eReceipt. After casting your eVote simply click the eReceipt button to verify your electronic ballot has been counted.
