I have been honored to serve the South Riding residents on the HOA board for the past 3 years. I now seek your vote to return me the SRP board for a second term.

My professional background includes more than two decades in global leadership roles working in the UK, Switzerland, and the U.S. I currently serve as an executive at Goodyear, leading teams in four continents. I held executive positions at Syngenta, Microsoft, O2, Old Mutual, and Reckitt.

Because my career has spanned so many industries, I’ve developed strengths relevant to Board service: the ability to learn quickly, to separate substance from noise, and to approach issues with objectivity rather than preconceived solutions. Each organization had different cultures, priorities, and constraints, navigating that taught me to adapt, listen, and make balanced decisions.

My first term on the South Riding Proprietary Board, includes service as Secretary and Vice President, I’ve gained a strong understanding of our community’s needs and the Board’s responsibilities. Although I am newer to South Riding, I am committed to helping build on the community’s tremendous success. I believe my experience and perspective will continue to add value.

Goals for serving South Riding:

As an incumbent Director, my priority is protecting the South Riding lifestyle, while ensuring value for money. Having served one term, I understand how to partner with our professional staff to deliver the high-quality services you expect.

I am committed to empowering and supporting our staff to ensure our many excellent events and services remain best-in-class. By prioritizing professional governance and clear communication, I will ensure your assessments are used efficiently to continue to provide the enviable lifestyle and outstanding community we all value. Relevant South Riding community activities:

South Riding’s events and traditions are a big part of why we love living here, and I make it a point to attend and support as many as I can. I’ve volunteered at the Mosaic Festival and Jingle Dash, and I regularly participate in major community events like Star Spangled South Riding. I’ve also served as the Board Liaison to Community Standards and Neighborhood Watch, gaining firsthand insight into our community’s needs. These experiences reflect my commitment to service and my desire to help strengthen South Riding’s quality of life.

Other leadership activities:

Leadership is a part of my life, both in my career and in support of the communities I’ve lived in. When my family lived in the U.K., we used our home and orchard as a gathering place for charitable events, hosting fundraisers, and holding a classical concert for the local museum. Before moving abroad, I volunteered with a food charity and served as President of a nonprofit board. These experiences taught me how to bring people together, steward resources responsibly, and support the well‑being of a community, skills I hope to continue applying as a member of the HOA Board.
